The Most Comfortable Heels for Women: 12 Heels You’ll Actually Want to Wear

most comfortable heels for women

Finding comfortable shoes to wear is a struggle regardless of the style or the occasion. Shoe sizes can vary slightly from brand to brand (and even within the same brand!) Not to mention that it’s totally a guessing game when it comes to ordering shoes online: Will they fit? Will they be comfortable? Will they be too wide?

However, while it can be tricky to find any comfy shoes, there’s one particular style that is consistently a challenge — heels.

There’s nothing more frustrating than spending a pretty penny on the high heels you’ve been eyeing only to wear them and realize they kill your feet. Even worse? When you attend an event, like a wedding or party, and your heels start giving you blisters.

Through a lot of trial and error, I’ve nailed down a solid list of trusted brands that make the most comfortable heels for women. I also asked the gals in my Facebook group to share their favorite heels.

Below, you’ll find my go-to heels for every type of style and occasion — ranging from the most comfortable pumps to the most comfortable mules.

The Most Comfortable Heels for Women

Loeffler Randall Penny Pleated Bow Sandals

Let me introduce you to my favorite heels ever….

These are so incredibly comfortable and I find myself wearing them more often than any other pair of heels. They’re dressy enough for special events but look equally as cute with a pair of jeans and a bodysuit for a night out.

They’re definitely an investment but I swear that you’ll wear them so much you’ll get more than your moneys worth!

I’ve recommended them so many times that they’ve become a #SilbSquad favorite. I have them in the shorter heel height as well!

Raye Jordan Heel

These might not look comfortable but as someone who owns and loves these heels, I can confirm that they are ideal for standing or walking in.

I love the chunky, woven straps for the spring and summer months. They’re a great dupe for the much more expensive Bottega Veneta heels (and they’re probably more comfy.)

Schutz PVC Dress Sandals

I received dozens upon dozens of messages from people raving about these heels, so I bought them and can attest: they’re amazing and make your legs look a mile long. I’m obsessed.

They’re my go-to heels for going out to dinner or to get drinks with friends. I often wear them multiple nights in a row because they’re so easy to walk in.

If you have wider feet, my followers have recommended this version with a thicker block heel!

Sam Edelman Kia Sandal

Sam Edelman was the one brand that was repeatedly recommended in my Facebook group.

Sam Edelman heels are always the most reliably comfortable heels for me! And the shoes themselves last a long time — I have pairs from almost 6 years ago that I’ve worn for a lot of big events and they still look like new,” one #SilbSquad member said.

This specific style is one of the brands bestsellers. I love the thick heel for occasions that require a lot of walking (or if you’re going to a venue with grass!)

They also come in a pretty white beaded style, which would be ideal for any bridal events.

I’ll let the reviews of these sparkly gold heels speak for themselves:

“Super easy to walk in and extremely comfortable to wear!”

“These will pair nicely with a little black dress or a dressy pant suit. The quality is excellent, and they’re comfortable for the heel height.”

“The first thing I noticed when I put them on is how lightweight and extremely comfortable they are.”

M.Gemi The Esatto 90mm

These classic black pumps were noted to be “perfect for all day wear” by someone in my Facebook group. They’re handmade in Italy and have a padded leather sole, which makes them feel nothing short of luxurious.

If you read through the reviews, one common theme you’ll see is that many buyers own multiple pairs (they come in a wide range of colors.) Reviewers also mention that they are high quality and last a long time.

Stuart Weitzman Kristal Clear Sandal

Sometimes, when you’re looking for really comfy heels, you’ve just got to go with something that’s low. These PVC heels are so trendy right now and would be perfect to wear for spring/summer events!

Sarah Flint Perfect Sandal 85

Anything from the Sarah Flint Perfect Collection is a tried and true win when it comes to comfort. As one #SilbSquad member put it, “the arch support and rubber sole is a lifesaver.”

These are so pretty and relatively high so it’s somewhat surprising that people rave about them —but the reviews really do check out.

Marc Fisher Block Heel Pumps

One of my Facebook group members shared that she has four pairs of these. They have over 600 nearly perfect reviews which seems like a win in my book!

Pair them with your favorite pair of jeans or a dress for anything from work meetings to happy hour with friends.

Sam Edelman Yaro Block Heel Sandal

If you need a chic, everyday heel that will last you a long time, these block heel sandals would be a good go-to. They come in a TON of colors — pretty much every shade you could ever possibly need.

Journee Collection Alisia Sandal

If you’re in search of the perfect summer sandal, look no further. These heels go with everything — jeans and a cute top, a dress, a jumpsuit.

I’m really digging this white style but they also come in black, taupe, light blue, and light pink.

Cole Haan Slingback Pump

Slingbacks are a good go-to for work days, events, or meetings. Cole Haan was suggested brand for comfortable heels and this specific pair has great reviews. People like that the heel height is in between super high and a kitten heel.
