Dermstore Anniversary Sale 2020 – Here’s Exactly What You Should Buy

dermstore anniversary sale

There are few things that excite me in life more than getting a good deal on skincare & beauty products—which is why I am absolutely LOSING MY MIND over the Dermstore sale that’s happening right now. In honor of their 21st anniversary, the site is kicking off a major sale that runs through August 17 where virtually all of my favorite brands are up to 25% off. I’m talking Dr. Dennis Gross, Caudalie, Tarte, Dr. Lancer, Sunday Riley, and so many others. (Make sure you enter the code CELEBRATE when you check out.)

A lot of these brands never discount their products, so it’s a pretty big deal. As an added bonus, they have a loyalty program where you get points for every dollar you spend, and for the duration of the sale, they’re offering 2x points on a bunch of major brands.

Dermstore sent me a legit SPREADSHEET with a breakdown of who was participating (over 300 brands, to be exact.) I went through every single name on the list and picked out individual items that I feel are the best products to buy during the anniversary sale. I own and would endorse every item below. I honestly could have included 100 things, but I didn’t want to overwhelm you.

If you have questions about any of these products or are debating what you should buy, feel free to drop a note in the comments and I’ll reply with my honest thoughts!

MY TOP DERMSTORE SALE PICKS:

1. Revitalash Eyelash Conditioner

I was definitely a skeptic about lash growth serums until I used this one for myself before my wedding. I’m not kidding when I tell you that my lashes grew so long I actually had to stop using the serum for a few weeks. (Another fun fact that I learned while working at Town & Country: apparently Meghan Markle is a big fan too.)

2. Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel

Are you sick of hearing me talk about these? They are top on my list of holy grail items, and the one thing I tell people to invest in if they want to see an immediate improvement in their skin overnight. That is not an exaggeration—you can literally tell the difference after using them ONE TIME. Everyone I’ve recommended them to is now hooked.

3. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

This is another product that I consider a must-have for anyone who wants to invest in good skincare, but doesn’t want to spend a million dollars on it. (I included it as a top product in my Skincare Routine for Beginners!) My husband and I go through tubs of Ultra Repair Cream like it’s our job—especially in the winter. It reminds me of a lot of the higher end night creams I have, at a fraction of the price.

4. Bioderma Make-Up Removing Micellaire Solution

This is what I use to remove my makeup every single day, which is why it’s the number one product on my “@LindsaySilb Master List.” I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: ditch your makeup wipes and use this (or an oil cleanser) instead. Makeup wipes tend to leave behind a film/residue on your skin, and I don’t love that. This French micellar water is much gentler. Soak it on a cotton pad and you’re good to go.

5. Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush – Exposed

Tarte is one of my absolute favorite makeup brands, and their Amazonian Clay blush is considered a staple among makeup lovers. I was debating which color to order, so I stalked reviews of all the different shades, and ‘Exposed’ is hands-down the favorite among beauty bloggers. I’ve tried it and can now report it is the PERFECT color. It gives you a really healthy flush but doesn’t scream “HI I’M WEARING BLUSH!”

6. Hot Tools 1.25 Inch Spring Iron

While I am very loyal to my Beachwaver, I’ve had my eye on a traditional curling iron for a while—and this seems to be the one every hairstylist uses when I get my hair done. It’s surprisingly cheap (like, I had to do a double take when I saw the price) and yet it’s what every professional swears by.

7. Patchology Flashpatch Eye Revive

A true secret weapon when you want to trick people into thinking you’re well-rested. I like to use these eye masks to prep my face before a big event, or even on a random morning when my undereyes are looking particularly puffy. I’ve tried a TON of different eye masks for dark circles and bags, and these are among my top picks.

8. The Wet Brush Heat Wave Blowout Brush

Whether you’re a fan of the original Wet Brush or haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet, this Blowout Brush is worth adding to your cart. A round brush can be somewhat tricky to use, but this one glides through your hair easily while detangling and adding volume. Now you can finally get that dreamy, post-salon look without having to go anywhere!

9. FOREO LUNA Play Plus

To be honest before I got a Foreo, I didn’t understand how it worked—but now that I’ve started traveling with mine, it’s become a staple of my skincare routine. It’s a tiny little handheld facial cleansing device, and there’s something really therapeutic about the way it lightly exfoliates your face—plus, it pulls double duty as a facial massager.

10. RMS Beauty Living Luminizer

I had heard about this cult-favored luminizer for years, so I finally decided I had to see what all the hype was about. It gives your skin a really natural, glowy finish and is great for people who either a) have dry skin and don’t like using powder highlighters, or b) can’t stand the look of shimmery, sparkly, overly dramatic highlighters.

11. Caudalie Beauty Elixir

Another ride-or-die product for me. I keep one on my vanity to spritz on my Beauty Blender, one at my desk for a mid-day refresh, and another in my carry-on to mist on my face while I’m flying. The Elixir is SUPER hydrating and smells absolutely incredible—the scent has a really calming, aromatherapy-like effect that’s hard to describe unless you’ve tried it.

MORE DERMSTORE SALE PICKS:

Ah there are still so many more things that I would recommend, but for the sake of time, I’ll include them in a bullet-pointed list below. I own every single one of these items and they each have my (very enthusiastic) stamp of approval.
