1) Button Down: J. Crew Stretch Shirt
An easy go-to. Can be worn casual or dressed up. It’s a no brainer. Buy two.
2) Sneakers: Common Projects High Tops
Worth every cent, these shoes will last you forever and are great for all seasons. Don’t waste your hard earned money on cheap sneakers. Buy fewer, buy better. They come in a variety of colors, but I always go for black because they stay clean longer.
3) Socks: Bombas Marl Ankle Socks
I’m a recent convert to Bombas. They are the most comfortable socks I’ve ever owned and they give away a pair to someone in need with each pair you purchase. Get them in different lengths/colors depending on your needs.
4) Boots: Thursday Boots Co.
Wear these when there’s snow on the ground and you don’t want salt to ruin your everyday shoes. Dark Brown or Black are my top picks.
5) Boxer Briefs: Calvin Klein
These boxer briefs won’t ride up and the waist band doesn’t itch. Go have a look at your underwear stash—it’s most likely time for an upgrade.
6) Denim: APC Skinny-Fit Dry Selvedge
APC is a long time leader in the denim game (since 1987), with a strong sense of fit and quality. I’m ALL about quality. Light colors are hard to pull off sometimes so I’d suggest splurging on a dark color. Also, do some research on how to care for denim – you’re really not supposed to wash/dry them.
7) Sweatshirt: Nadaam Cotton Cashmere Sweatshirt
This cotton cashmere sweatshirt from Naadam is the definition of comfortable and affordable luxury. Blended with just the right amount of cashmere, this sweatshirt offers superior softness and warmth when you need it.
8) Long Sleeve: Goodlife Clothing
A long sleeve crew is a must have for a cool Spring day or layering during cold Fall and Winter days.
9) Down Jacket: Canada Goose
Canada Goose is the industry standard for warm quality Winter jackets. The brand is very well established and their products are worn by some of the world’s most well known and respected athletes and explorers.
