Ritual Vitamins Review: 7 Things You Should Know About Ritual, the Multivitamin Brand Bloggers Love

ritual vitamin review

So, I’ll be completely honest with you. (Aren’t I always?) I’m the type of person who has historically been inconsistent with taking a multivitamin.

Pssst: If you’re just here for the promo code: use LINDS10 for 10% off of your first 3 months of Ritual.

I’m pretty good about eating healthy, keeping up a great skincare routine, and exercising when I can (I’ve been trying a ton of free streaming apps lately!) but for some reason the multivitamin thing had always been an issue I struggled to stay on top of.

And I so badly wanted to be committed. (Especially because it’s almost impossible to get enough of the nutrients needed daily from food alone.)

Anyway, here’s what kept happening: I’d hear about something new, get super excited about it, stick with it for a hot minute, and then—inevitably—I would either forget to pack it for a trip or forget to re-order it when I ran out.

A few weeks would go by, and before I knew it, the multivitamin had become a distant memory.

Admittedly, when I started taking Ritual (after being #influenced by a lot of other bloggers that I follow & respect) I kind of assumed the same thing would happen.

But I’m telling you—and I’m not trying to be dramatic, I swear—there is truly something different about these compared to every other multivitamin I’ve tried.

I take the “Essential for Women” multivitamin every single day right before I get into bed, and—get this—I’ve even been consistent about remembering to bring them with me when I travel.

There are a few reasons why I feel like they work so well for me, and for a lot of other people who swear by them too. So without further ado, here’s my Ritual Vitamins Review.

I decided to make it a list of the 7 things that have stood out to me the most about them.

FYI: If you’re looking for a Ritual promo code, I got you covered. Scroll down to the bottom of this article for 10% off your subscription.

My Ritual Vitamins Review

1. THE TASTE.

So, this is probably going to sound super surface-level, but hear me out because it’s the truth: they have a minty aftertaste that I’m obsessed with.

I’ve had other multivitamins that quite frankly made me gag because of how they tasted.

And the bottom line is that if the taste of your vitamins grosses you out, you’re not going to be as motivated to keep taking them.

Which brings me to my next point…

2. THEY’RE DELAYED-RELEASE NO-NAUSEA-DESIGNED CAPSULES.

One thing I’ve found to be a major differentiator for me is that I can take them with or without food, and at any time of the day, without worrying about whether or not they’ll make me feel nauseous.*

This works particularly well for me, because I keep the bottle right on my nightstand with all of my skincare, and I now just take mine as part of my pre-bedtime routine.

In the past, when vitamins I tried had to be taken with food, I would always find myself forgetting to take them after breakfast because I was running out the door.

And since I’m so often at meetings for lunch and dinner, trying to remember to pack them in my bag was a bit of a disaster.

3. I ONLY NEED TO TAKE 2 OF THEM/DAY.

Personally, I’m just not a fan of having to choke down 6 big pills every day.

The Ritual capsules are small (I’d even call them cute!) and they somehow manage to pack 9 key nutrients into 1 daily dose of 2 small pills.*

4. THE SUBSCRIPTION MODEL.

Like I mentioned, I had a hard time remembering to re-order or re-purchase other multivitamins before I ran out.

What’s nice about Ritual is that since you can sign up for a subscription, they just show up in my mailbox without me having to really think about it or plan in advance.

5. THE INGREDIENTS.

They’re non-dairy, non-GMO, gluten-free and vegan. Transparency, especially when it comes to ingredients, is pretty important to me if I’m going to be putting something into my body.

Below is a list of what’s included in Ritual’s formula:

  • Boron: Helps supports bone health*
  • Folate: Supports brain health*
  • Iron: Assists in blood-building*
  • Magnesium: Supports bone health*
  • Omega-3 DHA: Helps support brain health*
  • Vitamin B12: Helps support energy-yielding metabolism*
  • Vitamin D3: Supports bone health*
  • Vitamin E: Helps fight free radicals*
  • Vitamin K2 MK7: Helps support bone health*

So, yea—that pretty much sums it up. I’m HASHTAG LOYAL to Ritual. Like, aside from my husband, this is the most loyal I’ve been to anything in a really long time. I’ve also heard great reviews of Ritual Prenatal Vitamins from my friends that are pregnant, but I can’t vouch for them myself!

6. THE SUSTAINABILITY

One other recent thing I learned that’s worth adding: Ritual’s bottles are made entirely from recycled materials.

And the mailers that they’re sent in? Those are made from recycled news print and plant fibers, and they use plant-based ink in their printing.

7. THE FOUNDER

Maybe I’m bias, but when I’m buying a product that’s specifically made for women…I really appreciate when the brand is founded by a woman.

Ritual was founded by Katerina Schneider, who came up with the idea while she was pregnant and unable to find a prenatal multivitamin with ingredients that she trusted.

Necessity, as they say, is the mother of invention.
