Believe it or not, even influencers get influenced.
I frequently find myself adding-to-cart based on recommendations from other influencers, and when it comes to my Sephora purchases, I love buying what I see makeup artists using and loving.
Throughout the year I keep a running list in my phone of the products that makeup artists I follow recommend. Then I wait until the Sephora Spring Savings Event and buy everything from my list.
As a friendly reminder, here are the dates of this year’s event:

Also just one quick note: this post was created in partnership with Sephora (which is a sentence I still can’t believe that I actually get to type!) I’ve been sharing my Sephora picks on my blog for years, and to now be working with them is completely surreal. When you shop by clicking my links below, you’re supporting both me, and this dream partnership of mine. I am truly humbled and grateful every single day for the opportunity to be your go-to beauty guru 🙂 Thank you for trusting me with your hard-earned $$$ and beautiful faces!
Below are some of the things I’ve bought so far… and some of my OG faves.
I’ll be sharing more of my favorites on stories throughout the event, so be sure to keep an eye on my IG!
SEPHORA SPRING SAVINGS EVENT PICKS
1. Too Faced Lip Injection Maximum Plump Extra Strength Lip Plumper
This stuff has been on the market for a while, but I’ve hesitated to buy it because I’ve never found plumping serums to be very effective.
However, after seeing a number of beauty gurus I follow talk about how incredible it is, I decided to pull the trigger.
And OMG it works so well. Gives your lips the most gorgeous bee-stung plump. See my “before and after” above!
2. Patrick Ta Major Beauty Headlines – Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush
I was recently watching a makeup tutorial and dying over the artist’s flushed cheeks.
Turns out her secret was combining cream blush and powder blush – specifically Patrick Ta’s Double Take Creme & Powder Blush. It seems the shade I have (“She’s That Girl”) is sold out, but I’ve heard good things about “She’s a Doll” and “She’s Baked.”
3. Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Match Stix Matte Contour Skinstick
The greatest beauty hack I’ve seen recently? Use a cream contour stick to lightly outline beneath your lower lip.
It creates a shadow that gives you a fuller pout.
I’ve heard incredible things about Riri’s contour skinstick and since it’s more of a *want* than a *need* for me, I decided to buy it during the savings event. I got the shade Amber.
4. MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil: Eye, Lip & Brow Pencil in Wherever Walnut
Another makeup artist-influenced purchase!
This lip liner has been around forever and I’m constantly seeing artists talk about how it’s the shade that they wear every day. I just tried it and can confirm: the shade is 10/10 perfection.
5. Biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum
I have called this “the best skincare product I bought in all of 2021” and that is not an exaggeration.
Usually it takes me several months to notice a difference in my skin when I try a new serum, but with this one, it was almost immediate.
Makes my skin so bouncy, hydrated, and healthy-looking instantaneously. I can layer it with other serums or use it on its own. It’s an ABSOLUTE skincare MUST for me. I just ran out of my second bottle, so I repurchased!
5. Guerlain Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil
Are we tired of me talking about this magical face oil yet?
It’s been a holy grail of my skincare routine since 2019 — so much so, that I’ve repurchased multiple times.
It’s a bit pricey, so I always try to buy it during the Spring Savings Event.
6. SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Blush Brush #96
I already own this brush but I bought one for my mom for Mother’s Day. It’s THE BEST.
While it’s technically a “blush” brush, I use it for legit everything – bronzer, powder, blush, highlighter.
If you’re looking for one does-it-all makeup brush, this one’s your girl.
A makeup artist I follow said it was ok to use one brush for multiple steps because it helps everything blend better? I’ll take it!
Also: it’s 30% off right now regardless of what tier you are because it’s part of the Sephora Collection.
Ok sooo that’s everything I personally bought! Looking for more of my products recs to buy during the Spring Savings Event? Check out my Sephora Master List here! It’s an exhaustive recap of every product I have tried, loved, and would recommend.
